Global Mixx Film Festival Submission Guidelines

​

We are excited to announce that Global Mixx Film Festival is now accepting submissions! We welcome filmmakers, musicians, and creatives to submit their work for consideration in the following categories:

Submission Categories:

Music Videos: Must be under 5 minutes in length.
Short Films: Must be under 20 minutes in length.

​

Submission Fee:

$25 per submission (non-refundable).
There is no limit to the number of submissions per filmmaker, provided each submission is separate, and the required submission fee is paid for each.

Submission Process:

All works must be submitted via Film Freeway.
No other formats (e.g., DVDs, physical copies) will be accepted.
Please ensure your screener is accessible and functioning before submitting.

 

The deadline for entries is Friday, October 11, 2024 @ 11:59 PM CST.

Deadline:

Filmmakers will be notified of their submission status via email on or before the festival’s **notification date**.

​

Screening & Awards:

Selected finalists will have their work screened at the Global Mixx Music and Film Forum on Saturday, November 9, 2024.

Winners:

A winner from each category (Music Video and Short Film) will be chosen and awarded during the festival.

Additional Information:

By submitting, you confirm that you hold all necessary rights to your work and agree to its screening as part of the Global Mixx Film Festival.

Submissions must comply with festival guidelines regarding length and format.
